Trouble gaining weight

During my first trimester I was so nauseous and had trouble eating, I ended up losing about 5 lbs. I talked with my doctor, who said that was pretty normal. Now I am in My 14th week, almost to 15 and I am still not gaining weight, I am about 1.5 lbs up from my lowest weight during my first trimester, but I have stayed at my current weight for weeks now - I know I am probably ok because it is still early on, but I can't help but worry sometimes! Has anyone else had this problem?

I lost 17lbs in my first 17 weeks!
But, at week 21 check up, I was back up 12lbs! As soon as I got my ability to hold food down back, I started eating a lot. Of course, I ate healthy, but ate quite a bit. I think my body really needed it, because it held onto everything.
My weight gain level out and at my 25 week check up, I was only up 4 more lbs.
I am almost 27 weeks now and am up another 3lbs - putting me at 2lbs over prepregnancy.
I had severe morning sickness too, but luckily for me, it had an end and I did start gaining.
Does your doctor seem concerned?
eta: I wanted to add my experience with my first child. I lost 29lbs with her, due to morning sickness. It stopped around 20 weeks and I started gaining. I gained that 29lbs back plus 28 more! I will not being doing that again. That was way too much weight gain.0 -
With my first I lost 6 lbs in my first trimester. They told me not to worry I'd start gaining around 20 weeks. By 20 weeks I had gained the 6 lbs back, and then 20-24 weeks I gained 8 pounds. Then they told me I had gained too much in a month! Ha! I ended up having gestational diabetes so was on a limited diet and still gained 23 lbs total, so losing a bit in first tri and taking a little while to catch up was perfectly normal and fine for my pregnancy. He cam 13 days late and was 7lbs12, so he definitely had a happy environment in there (read eviction by induction took 3 days) and was a good sized healthy weight. As always talk to your doctor if you're worried, they really reassured me that I'd gain plenty at the right times - and they were right.

With this pregnancy I started overweight and lost a few pounds. I'm 29 weeks and I've gained almost 20 pounds now. Most of your weight gain is in your second and third trimesters, so just eat healthy when you're hungry and your body will do what it needs to do for the baby. Don't stress, I've had friends who ended up with Hyperemesis their entire pregnancies and still gave birth to healthy babies even after they lost like 30 pounds.0
