Hi!
i have a 10 month old who I breastfeed about 6 times a day. I also workout 5 days a week, 3 of those days I do weight training with cardio the other 2 days I do an exercise class and cardio. I am 5'1 and 125#'s. I am trying to lose fat and gain lean muscle. Here are my calculations. I wear the polar Loop activity tracker all day and during my workouts I wear the HR7 heart rate monitor so my calories burned are accurately tracked. Here are my numbers on a workout day (yesterday)

I burned 2264 calories (this includes my BMR but NOT BREASTFEEDING)
I burned 360 calories breastfeeding (6 times x 3oz= 18, 18x 20cal/oz)
= 2626 calories/ workout day

on the 2 days I don't workout it looks like this
appx. 1800 calories + 360 breastfeeding
= 2160 calories burned non-workout day

then I average those over a week which gives me
2626 x 5 days= 13,130
2160 x 2 days= 4,320
= 17,450 calories burned in a week

then i need a deficit of 3500 for a weight loss of 1# a week.
17,450
-3500
=13,950 divided by 7 days equals a total of

*1992* calories I can consume a day in order to lose 1# a week.

DOES THIS LOOK CORRECT???

Please let me know your thoughts on my calculations.

I just use the calculator here http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/

Subtract 15 to 20% and then I add 200 calories since my daughter only bf about 3 or 4 times a day. Focus on a diet high in protein and healthy fats.
