Drinking Water

I try but i can't bring myself to drink water all day I hate the taste after a few sips does anyone have any suggestions? My nutritionist says this is contributing to a long stall for me. March 20 will be one year ago from surgery.

Fresh fruit or cucumber infused water, or crystal light drops (just a few), hot herbal teas. Water is a problem for me too, I have noticed that it has to be ice cold or boil hot in temp, anything inbetween just doesn't sit well.

Crystal Light Natural Lemon Iced Tea. On the go packets mix well with 33 oz water (box claims 1:16oz but that is to sweet for me). 5 Calories each - costs me 10 calories a day to make sure I get 66 oz of water.

Mio or Crystal Light. I also drink lots of Bai5 or Vitamin Water Zero. Plain water is tough.

I use Crystal Light or Mio or other zero calorie flavor enhancers. I also drink Vitamin Water Zero, it's sweetened with stevia but it doesn't have a weird aftertaste. I drink a lot of herbal tea as well.

I like Sobe 0 calorie flavored water. Strawberry dragonfruit is my fav. I also drink sparkling ice waters. They are carbonated, but I let them sit and go flat. they are good that way as well. The only time I like plain water is when it is really hot outside. Otherwise, I drink one of those and sometimes I like cinnamon tea.

    hope that helps!!

You do know you can count decaf coffee or tea as your water too? Sobe 0 cal is good too. I like Fuji Apple Pear and the Raspberry Acai flavors the best. I usually the Sobe in 1/2 and only use 1/2 Sobe and 1/2 water in the bottle as it it too sweet unless I do that. I average 12-17 8 oz servings of water a day.
Water really does help you loose the weight after WLS. You should have at least 80 oz of water a day.
    Good luck!

I really like the True Lemon products (http://www.truelemon.com/). I've never been able to tolerate Crystal Light. I think it's the sweetner used in it. Anyway, True Lemon makes a great lemonade. And their packets of lemon, lime and other citrus flavors are really nice to add to plain water too.

My favorite is zero calorie/zero sodium Sparkling Ice flavored water. It's carbonated and my sleeved tummy doesn't like the carbonation, so I sip a bit out and then shake and release until the carbonation is gone. Watch the sodium levels if you go with flavored water, they can be high. Like I said, the Sparkling Ice has no sodium. I also use Crystal Light. I don't mind plain water but if I drink it all day I find it makes me want to eat a lot by dinner time.
