Calcium on MFP

I went to look and see what the calcium settings were to see if I wanted to adjust it to make sure I'm getting enough and it's just a percent. Does anyone know what they consider 100%? 1000mg? 1200? It knows I'm female, does it account for that?

Thanks!

From what I understand (and I could be completely wrong) it doesn't matter how much calcium you eat if you don't have enough vitamin D to aid absorbtion. My multivitamin (pregnacare) contains 10 micrograms of vitamin D, which is 200% rda, but no calcium.

I was confused about this, too. I take a calcium supplement (with vit D) along with my multivitamin, even though I usually hit 100% according to mfp. It just doesn't seem like enough with what they say hits 100.
