Do you weight lift?

I am starting to workout again and I am thinking about starting to lift weights. Has anybody tried lifting heavy weights and low reps? What did you like or dislike? Thanks 

    Hi,

    I did that way back when I was stronger. I used to enjoy the challenge. Truthfully, it was a lot more motivating than working out to lose weight as each session of weight lifting brought a new challenge and a new achievement. Good on you to do it! I can't wait until I'm strong enough.

    I want to but need to build my strength up and have some training as to where to start since I have a back issue that will require surgery this year :(

    Thanks for the responses. I think I am going to start this week lifting heavy weights at low reps. I'll let you know if I have any success.
