Any body weight train while breastfeeding? I had 4 kids plus a recent miscarriage all in 4 years and I decided I MUST get my body back! Im 28 5'1 124 lbs and 29% body fat! My baby is 10 months and nurses 6-7xs a day. I have been exercising for 2.5 weeks. i strength train 3 days a week with 20-30 minutes of cardio and i do an exercise class with cardio 2 days a week. i drink a gallon of water a day and on monday i started adding in a 30g protein drink daily to make sure I am eating enough protein. I am eating 1900-2000 cals a day but I have not seen any pounds lost yet...UGH! Do you think Im eating enough/ too much? Should I weight train all 5 days?

Your stats are very similar to mine. I have been weight training for a few months now, and while the scale hardly moves, I go by measurements. When you are building muscle and burning fat, the scale can easily trick you into thinking you are not making progress. Make sure you are tracking your measurements!0

I have the same issue. And I have been working out like mad woman three weeks straight. In fact, I feel like my pants have gotten tighter
I'm thinking I need to subtract less than 500 calories and probably try to cut out all sugars, including in my coffee. Ugly cry.0 -
You're at a pretty healthy weight already, so if your goal is to lower your body fat maybe try ignoring the scale and just taking measurements. I would think 1900-2000 calories a day is a pretty good number, especially with BFing that often each day. You need those calories. Are you weighing all your food?
I noticed you've only been at this for 2.5 weeks. Have patience, I didn't lose any weight for almost 3 weeks straight when I first started working out and then suddenly it just started melting off. I've read on here that when you start a new exercise program, you hang on to a lot of water weight for a while. But I would really try not to focus on the scale and take those measurements!0
