Hi, I don't remember, what is BMR? What does the number stand for? Mine is 1413, is that the number of calories I consume a day?

    Hi!

BMR stands for basal metabolic rate, which is the amount of energy (calories) that it takes to run your body at rest. Most adults have a BMR between 1300 and 1800 calories a day. There are three different components to total energy expenditure and they are: BMR, the process of converting food to energy (which is known as thermogenesis), and the amount of physical activity.

So, BMR is the amount of energy it takes to run your body at rest!
