Has anyone tried Gluten Cutter? My sister told me about it yesterday. She said that she took 2 pills before eating a cinnamon roll and never experienced the side affects from it. I am a little apprehensive about trying it. I have an intolerance, not celiac. I have been doing well on a gluten free diet since September and have never felt better. Not sure if I want to take a chance. Any thoughts?

I haven't tried it and honestly, I hadn't even heard of it before your post. It seems to me though that taking a pill, even if you don't "feel" the effects of the gluten, would just be masking symptoms and not actually taking away whatever damage gluten inflicts on your system. I carry an epipen for a shellfish allergy but I would never eat shellfish and shoot myself with the pen to counteract the damage! If it's helpful at all I would consider taking the stuff when I have to eat somewhere that I can't be 100% certain is safe like potlucks and restaurants. Unless it were tested and proven, I just wouldn't trust my health to something like that. I've spent too long feeling like crap and now that I'm finally feeling better I won't ruin it for the ability to eat a donut or a cinnamon roll. Just my two cents. :)

Please, please check with a responsible site first for more information, I suggest the following website on this subject from a medical celiac support site - non commercial - very important! http://kelownaceliac.org/2013/06/12/dont-be-fooled-by-gluten-free-cures/

I wouldn't want you to have a setback in your health... it's never worth it. "These products are NOT APPROVED by Health Canada or the FDA" quote from the Celiac support organization.
