park yourself on the couch for the weekend with lots of water and nurse nurse nurse. it takes a few days for the supply to catch up to demand. in the meantime, just nurse whenever she asks, even if you "just" nursed0

This sounds perfect! Relax and let suckle whether baby is getting anything or not. It stimulates supply and comforts baby. Make sure you're also eating plenty. Oats are meant to help production, so porridge, flapjacks, etc. However, if you feel you are still short there are lactation cookies and mother's milk tea.0 -
I agree with a nursing frenzy... drink lots of water and up your calories a bit to help move it along.
Were you taking fenugreek correctly? Three tablets three times a day? If that didn't work try upping it to 4 three times a day. But it takes a few days, so your growth spurt would be over / supply up by then.0 -
Are you trying to lose weight? Are you making sure you are eating enough?
I loved lactation cookies, or even just oatmeal cookies with extra oatmeal. They are not exactly weight loss friendly. But they do work and are delicious.
Do you pump? How do you know you're not producing enough? If it's a growth spurt and your baby is nursing frequently, that is perfectly normal and it does NOT necessarily mean you don't have enough milk. She is nursing more to help increase your supply, so just let her do that and definitely don't supplement with formula or it will decrease your supply. Trust your body and your baby, just nurse her when she wants and remember that it's normal if it feels like you're nursing constantly! Have your laptop near by and a book and the remote and just enjoy some time with baby.0 -
I agree with everything above. When my babies have gone through growth spurts I feel like all I do is nurse nurse nurse! Do not supplement! The baby needs to be able to tell your body you need to make more.0

I'm still struggling with this. My boy isn't gaining fast enough so I'm expressing (by hand I found much more productive than by pump) after every feed and topping him up with that. And feeding very regularly. It's tiring but I hope to get there.0

I'm sure you will get there But what makes you think he's not gaining fast enough?0
