... also liked American Flyer.
Wasn't that the load of cobblers with Kevin Cosner (complete with german porn-star moustache) in it...
The one with the Russian that looked like he'd a bears *kitten* hanging out of his mouth, and a piss-pot crash helmet on ?

I love this movie! I'd still let Dennis Quaid ride my bike any day.
American Flyer is good for a laugh.0 -
The scene with the bigass dog is worth a laugh.0

Great movie! I went to school at IU, and I've actually been to the Little 500! I wasn't into biking at all then but now I race.0

I loved the movie Breaking Away. I also love American Flyers … yeah it is corny … but I love it. I love it so much that I do a spin workout to it. I do a warm up, skip to the race scenes, sprint when they do, stand and climb when they do, do a small recovery between each section, then I do a cool down at the end, works out to about 45 minutes with the warm up and cool down. I call it my Hell Of The West work out. Works for me.0

I caught it on TV the other day, classic! I also like Quicksilver (and wonder if it spawned the hipster movement...)0

not enough cycling movies out there. Premium Rush also a good one.0

Agreed on both counts.0 -
not enough cycling movies out there.
If you haven't seen The Flying Scotsman yet, it is definitely worth the time to find it. It is the story of Graeme Obree, his quest for the hour record, and his mental problems. Not particularly a "fun night" movie, but a wonderful bio.

I also went to IU and had four great Little 500s. This movie has a special place with me.0
