So I've been at a standstill with weight loss for about a week or 2 and I'm not sure I understand the Net Calories rule. If My dairy says I am to eat at 1340 net calories a day and I eat that but exercise should I eat more?

Do you eat back your exercise calories? If not, I would start doing that. It may be that you need to also up your calories a bit. You would be surprised how many people on here will tell you how well they are doing and losing by eating MORE! It can be a hard concept to grasp when you are starting out, but I'm sure someone here will explain the sematics of it. :flowerforyou:0

If mfp says to eat 2200 calories then your aim is to eat them and get the green numbers on your homepage close to zero. Enter all your food and exercise. As long as the numbers on your homepage stay green you should lose weight. If they go red then more exercise or less food is required.
Essentially you are eating the calories you need to function on a daily basis plus any calories you burn when exercising.0
