    Hello!

    What are the goals for the group? Is it just focusing on our individual goals? I'll be glad to lend a hand if I can.

    I'm losing steam with my current exercise program and haven't exercised consistently for about 3 weeks. I ordered a new program that should be here in the middle of next week. So, we'll see what happens!

  • Here is the "O, Lord Give Me Strength To Get Out of Bed" Plan.

    This includes your Daily Devotional along with some quick leg lifts and sit ups.

    Lie on your side and like scissor, just lift one leg up as far as you can and then back down. Shoot for ten the first time and increase each day by one for at least 15 days. Do 25 for a week and then increase each day by one for 25 days.

    Put a nice comfy pillow under your head and then do ten sit ups in bed, Also increasing in the same manner as the leg lifts each day.

    There you go! Your metabolism has increased to a little higher level to maintain during the day. Do these when you get in bed at night. You will more than likely have to consciously talk yourself into them , but whatever it takes do them.

    What will happen here is you will make your waist and hips smaller, I am not sure where it all goes, as it usually does not show up on the scales, but I can wear skirts I could not wear before after a few weeks to a month of doing this basic plan. So

    I do try to walk at least thirty minutes or on a machine if I cannot go for a walk which is so much nicer, as it is a nice time to think and just breathe in life.

    For the diet plan I use a three day to seven day flush, where I eat antioxidants, in salads and drink, V8 Fusion.

    I am hoping the food logs here will help me see where I am eating the wrong foods and use portion control. In my own personal experience drinking soda is not good.Just cutting that out, makes a huge difference almost right away. I want to lose around thirty lbs, since I have been sitting at my computer for online classes for the past couple of years and need to get up and just get moving. I think it was Angela Lansbury who had a video out, Just Moving!

    What we can do together is to list what we eat each day and what exercise we do, to be accountable. That works for me. My goal is 10 lbs a month and this site set me at 1200 calories a day based on exercising five days a week. Let's just do it!
  • Sounds like a plan, below I have outlined the diet and exercise , it is a basic plan that through our experience and collaboration can be customized and improved. When I see what others eat for the day , it gives me ideas what to eat. I usually am not as tempted because I know I have to post what I ate and what exercise I did, and honesty is important, since when ti comes down to it the little fibs only hurt the person as far as progress. I just want it to be light hear ted and fun. I need a diet pal, as it is better than just alone. Thanks, Theresa
