...Day1 for this group

Well day 1 went well . I tried plugging in what I ate, and at almost 8 p.m. I have 552 calories I still can use. I loved that this site has Keurig coffees, and V8. and the different flavors listed separtely.

I had just coffee for Bfst.with milk/Keurig

Lunch , a spring salad and baby spinach, tlbs dressing

Dinner - V8 Fusion, strawberry /banana

Snack V8 Fusion - pomegranate

Although my calories were good and I had some left over, but my sugars were in the neg 14. I would never have guessed that and they came from the Fusion. I love this process.

I did my Lazy Bed Exercises so far, have them to do at bedtime. I did not exercise yet, as I have woke up with an upset stomach from the Activia I had yesterday. It prob was a combination of things. I will do better tomorrow. I do have a skirt that I love that I have not been able to fit into for a while ready and waiting for me! Thanks, Theresa

I think I will only have one Fusion, and drink more water tomorrow.

Are people just not posting, or am I missing it somewhere, thanks.

    Breakfast today was a Fuji apple with the skin on... I know, I'm a rebel :wink:; Lunch was 4 oz of steak leftover from dinner a couple nights ago along with a dab of teriyaki sauce; dinner is lasagna. My snack today was some teriyaki jerky and some popcorn. I'm a little disappointed in my protein. I'll have to get more tomorrow. I did get a little bit of a run in when I got home from work.

    I'll relax a bit and do my assignment for the group before bed. :smile:

    There are some skirts in the guest closet that I'll have to bring out and keep around for my progress checks. I loved them so much when they fit that I couldn't bear to get rid of them, but also couldn't bear to have them in my closet knowing I couldn't get them over my thighs, haha.

    I don't know if I'm a good fit for this group, but I love finding a group where Day 1 is also my first day for MFP.

    I ate less than my calorie recommendation and got enough water, I wasn't at all prepared - I just needed to start, so I'm ok with that. I need to up the veggies and start weighing and measuring. I can do that.


    The reason this group appealed to me were the bed exercises since I'm just getting back to them, too. I did 50 side leg lifts each side, 35 oblique lifts and 35 quad lifts each side. I actually managed 6 crunches! Plus i did the ankle flex, knee flex, hip stretches.

    Tomorrow I am going to walk somehow, somewhere. I teach a class that has me on my feet for about an hour. It's not really exercise but it's up from the computer.

    I'm shy to add a picture, but these really are my feet. I'll try to work my way up.

    You've got to start somewhere and make little changes. So it sounds like you're off to a good start! Great job for getting those bed exercises done!
