Odd Hip/Groin Pain

I can seem to nail down what's ailing me, doesn't seem to line up with anything.
I'm getting a sharp pain through the outside of my hip into my groin area on longer runs (starts to develop after 10-11 miles and I can't seem to run through it.) basically draw a line through the very outside of my hip through into the "nook" of my groin where the leg connects.
It's somewhat debilitating, I have a hard time continuing once it flares up. It's fairly sharp and and is constant throughout my stride. It diminishes quickly after a run, leaving only a little tightness in my groin for a bit.
Any ideas? This is the only thing preventing me from getting my mileage up, and I want to figure out what's causing it.

Get that checked out. Could be a labral tear, but I would expect that to continue hurting after the run. Issues with the hip joint often refer pain into the groin.0

Yeah, I would definitely get it checked out. Hip issues are nothing to mess with, trust me.0
