Okay this got really long so I am just going to link to my blog post on it rather than reinvent the wheel. Posting here because I'd asked in late December if I would really be able to train (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1158687-is-this-even-feasible), and well, life got easier as baby got bigger - y'all were right, I had this!

But TL;DR, I crushed my goal and PR'ed by over 20 minutes, despite my previous PR being on a flat course and this one being all about the hills. The course was beautiful and the medal FANTASTIC. I can't recommend this race enough.

Congrats on the PR! Always nice to be able to have those two sweet letters next to a result posting.
And that is a BADASS medal. I wants one....0 -
Thank you all! I am so so amazed and jazzed by how the race went, still!Congrats on the PR! Always nice to be able to have those two sweet letters next to a result posting.

It's RIDICULOUS! I love it. Normally the medal for this half is a giant penny and that think is pretty big itself - but this anniversary medal is just lethal. I hung it and actually laughed because it's next to the penny from last year and just dwarfs it.
