RockStar 5K-Fairfax, VA-April 27th

Hi all! My company, Commonwealth Orthopaedics, in partnership with Potomac River Running stores is hosting a local 5k in Fairfax in honor of one of our coworkers, Cherie Yadao. Cherie was one of our physical therapists and clinic manager in Arlington who lost her fight with a rare bone cancer in 2009 at 35 yrs old. She was an amazing person- always vivacious, lively, and used to say "Party like a Rock star!"
So in her honor, Commonwealth Orthopaedics has instituted the Cherie Yadao Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships for NoVa/DC/MD students currently in physical therapy college programs here in the DC/MD/VA area.
The race is being held at Fairfax Corner and will circumvent the Fairfax Government Center on Sunday, April 27th @ 8:00am. It's always a blast. This is our 5th year!
Come out, support a great cause, and get healthy with a HUGE group of other people! (looking for miles in your race docket? It's a timed race through Potomac River Running and is totally legit!) Come check it out! I'll be there!
