I love food - tastes, smells, textures. The experience of cooking, sharing, eating and celebrating life events is something near and dear. I am smart enough to know intellectually that my food choices have been unhealthy and yet... somehow I have mixed up love and luixury and butter all together. Am I alone? How do I navigate my way through this journey to lose, optimally, 75 pounds, while still experiencing the PLEASURE of food? And don't tell me to start jogging to tap into the endorfins, blah, blah, blah. That will NEVER be pleasurable. I would love to hear from anyone who struggles with this same challenge - that is... food being pleasure, love, identity, and so much more.
