Weekend Challenge -- Spring Ahead

Okay Campers!

For some of us, the spring has arrived.

But first, let us spare a thought for our Pals on the prairies. We hope that spring gets to you quickly and without a fuss.

Still...in the northern hemisphere, the days are getting longer, and it's time to get moving.

And there are so many ways to get moving and recording some calorie burn!

Sixty minutes of log worthy activity each day this weekend is your challenge.

So how about "Cleaning, vigorous effort", or "Gardening, general"?

Or my personal all time favorite..."Walking, 3.0 mph, mod. pace, walking dog"!

For the weather-bound, or perhaps the winter couch-bound Pals out there, you could always try "Walking, 2.0 mph, slow pace" around the mall, market, or museum.

The more sweat on your brow, the bigger the burn, but the point is to make sure you do SOMETHING, Anything, that gets your heart rate up and maybe even gets you glowing; your call. Just don't make any excuses as to why you can't find an hour for your chores, even if you can't find time for "exercise".

And for those of you who already have ditched all the excuses and endure or enjoy, or at the very least enjoin in, daily activity, you can add an hour, or if time is a factor, add some intensity for that token bonus extra drop of sweat!

And as always...be sensible. Don't do yourself any mischief. Stay hydrated. Warm up. Cool down. And don't break anything in between!

Get moving!

Good logging and good luck!

WEM? Oh yeah...you'll be burnin' in the morning Pal!

Did my hour of gardening. Well, I say gardening, in that it involves being outside and plants.

My house is overgrown with 20 some odd years worth of vines. I am trying to make a hobby out of killing them.

Another hour of lighter effort might be undertaken when the noon day sun has passed, but my time of full steam, sweat dripping, angry war cry effort is spent for the time being.

The beastie will be marched as usual. Later. ...but right now my arms are pudding.

I got in an hour's worth both days Today was some light cleaning around the apartment and yoga tonight. Yesterday was three workouts of Rockin' Body (I got really pissed off in the evening due to some life stuff and pounded out an extra workout to chill back out) and no Yoga though.

And I killed more vines and marched the pooch on Sunday. So I am well pleased with my activity level.

I am not pleased with my massive chocolate scarf. (But oh so nummy:love: ...but bad:devil: ...but good:heart: ...but...oh... )

    Still...Monday is a new day.

I got my 60 today. I split it between the bike, the elliptical, and the treadmill. I think changing machines like that makes it seem to go faster and left me feeling I might could have done more. Maybe tomorrow...
