Okay, so we all got to jealously follow you via FB at PaleoFX and now it's time dish. Who was nice, normal, and down to earth? Who were the biggest pompous jerks? What did you like/dislike the most about it? Were there any talks/people that were just hard/tiring to get through or listen to? Did you try any cool new tools, foods, supplements, etc from any of the vendors? Did you get to try the ARX machine?

Was Robb Wolf awesome? How about Ben Greenfield? I love them both....in a non-psycho type of way. LOL!

Okay… it is not very exciting but everyone was SUPER nice. There were a couple of gals who seemed kind of click-y but I don't really know who they are. Authors.. I wasn't worried about girls. HA! Seriously, everyone we met was way cool and way nice. Some speakers are way more dynamic than others. I didn't mean to follow Dean Dwyer around but I gravitated to him because he is just very entertaining in person. His podcasts is super fast paced but in person he is just funny.
I was in awe of these guys, really. I can't believe how down to earth everyone was. Roger ****erman is the kind of guy that remembers your name and walks up to talk to us across a lot of "big shots" and he shakes your hand with both hands and really looks you in the eye when he talks to you. LOVE THAT GUY. He will be on the show next month!!
Angela, I'm so glad you like Rob and Ben. THEY SHOULD BOTH BE ON THE SHOW soon! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!? They were being swarmed by people but Ben said he'd like to come one and talk about modern-day hunters. And Rob was just a very cool guy who said he'd be happy to talk to our audience especially since a lot of folks on the FRN may not know a lot about Paleo. Sean Croxton wasn't as chatty as we thought he would be but I'm sure he is nice. Just didn't really talk to us much even though we went up to him. A big surprise was Kiefer. He was so very smilie and friendly and told us that of course he remembered us. He sat with us at a pre-party and told us that he would introduce us to Dr. Rocky Patel. He even said "I will find you guys. I will hunt you down." and then he laughed because that is what I told him we were going to do to him when he was on our show. But really, he was much more congenial than we thought he would be. I kind of stalked Mark Sisson after we were on a panel together. I am just in awe of him. He was very nice and agreed to be on the show some day. We will see. I know Ben will be on in May. Rob is very likely and I'm hopeful about Mark.
You guys… you HAVE to come next time. For real, we laughed the whole time. Jonathan Bailor was nothing but nice. Abel James was nice but we didn't chat much. We hung out with Jimmy Moore and Dean and got to spend time with Jonathan. All the other guys were just maybe one or two conversations. We did get to have breakfast with Nora Gedgaudas who is very big time. She and Dr. Terri Wahls - amazing people.
NEXT YEAR. COME WITH!!!

Thank you so much for the follow up! It's great to know that these people are really nice in person too! I would love, love, love to go next year. It's pretty pricey though and I'm not sure my other half would be as excited to go. I'll work on it though. LOL!
