On my journey to losing 20 lbs, I gained over 5 this week. That's not right, supposed to be losing weight.
I gained 2.3 Kgs (over 5 lbs) by eating in excess of 16,000 calories in 4 days. Unintentionally, in so much as it was not planned.
I am unable to figure how I gained over 2 Kgs when I over ate way less than the 2 Kg in calorific terms.
To maintain weight, I should be consuming approx. 2400 calories which is 9600 over 4 days. So the 16,000 consumed MINUS 9600 to maintain EQUALS 6400 over. Which is approx (6400/3500) 1.8 lbs or just UNDER 1 Kg.
Here is the kicker, I exercised over those 4 days too, 3 rounds of Golf and 1 day of strength training.
So why am I nearly 3 times heavier than I should be, purely based on the numbers? Is it water weight too? Did my body convert more of what I ate to fat? It was mainly pizza by the way, lots and lots of pizza.
