Interesting NSVs at lunch today!

First, went to Target to pick up my new favorite snack, Siraacha peas, (they actually have some protein in them and make me feel full, plus they're kinda hot so I don't want to eat them by the handful) and decided to pick up a few cute layering T-shirts as the ones at home are looking really sloppy now. Ended up trying a large and a medium and left the fitting room with the medium. This shirt is fitted, with horizontal orange and white stripes. I could not, would not have worn that 6 months ago! Then on to the grocery to squelch the craving for a spinach salad off the salad bar. I made myself a $2 salad, (likely more than I can eat). Before, salad bar ran me about $9! Wow! How things change!

You should feel so proud of yourself for getting to this point and knowing there'll be more shopping excursions just like this and each one will make you feel better and better. That's something I still am looking forward to.

    Outstanding!!! What a great feeling.

Had a cool NSV Monday night. Attended a support group meeting for the first time in 3 months. Walked in a bit late and slide into a seat completely unrecognized. When I contributed to the discussion a whole bunch of strange looks and side conversations popped up until the Nurses and regulars finally recognized me and started to comment on the changes. Very positive night.
