Hi,
I'm in my 4th weeks of stronglift. Squats @ 65lb and Deadlifts @ 100lb and I am already feeling it in my knees. The hurt right after a work out. Is it because I'm doing something wrong? I am not new to lifting, I did NROLFW before but never got as heavy as 100lb for deadlifts. I also thing I have good form....
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

what hurts? is it in the joints? muscle around the knee?
I have never found my knees hurt from DL...maybe film your next set and post it if you think it's the deadlift.
Squats ditto...could be a situation where your knees are buckling during squats...0 -
Pain in the knees is almost always bad form. I have a bad knee and I used to feel pain all the time until I fixed my form and now I feel the pain in the appropriate muscles worked.0

It's during the squats and it feels like the joints. I wore a knee brace during my last work out and it felt better.0

Any chance you could film yourself squatting so we could have a better idea of how you squat? Sometimes it's not as much correct form as what's anatomically okay for your own body, too.
You may have injured yourself but not noticed it until now because not a lot of stuff you do in every day life mimics the strain of a heavy squat? Just a thought.
I was squatting low bar, somewhat wide stance and managed to damage my meniscus (I'm still not 100% sure how, but have an inkling it was leg curls & extensions) and now it's bothering me quite a bit. I was stronger that way and it's the stance every powerlifter I follow recommend, but at the moment it's a lot more comfortable for me to squat high bar, shoulder width stance. So you could play around with that.
Also, if a brace seems to help, there's a chance you might be caving in your knees on the way up.0 -

Definitely this! This was my problem and I thought I needed a brace.0
