Any way to increase fitness in 2 weeks?

So, I'm a little disappointed in my race today. It was my slowest race yet (with the exception of my longest trail races). Seriously, my first 3 races (pre-marathon) were all 1 to 2 minutes faster per mile. I was even almost 2 minutes per mile faster while pushing a stroller in a 5K last year. I don't know how much of today's result was lack of fitness, how much was mental, how much was being sick and how much was just being a good bit heavier.
I have my first road 5K of the year in 2 weeks. I know I won't be setting a PR at this race, but I'd really like to at least beat that stroller PR (8:01 pace). I held 8:00 for the first 2 miles of my 5-miler last month, so I really feel I can do it for the whole 5K.
My question is this: Since I've really fallen off of my training over the last two months, is there any benefit to increasing my mileage over the next two weeks (the anti-taper)? Should I keep the mileage low and add some more quality?
After this race, I'll have 19 weeks to train for the next one I have planned (thinking about Daniels' Blue plan), but I still want to put in a maximum effort on this one. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
I've only been managing to get around 10 miles per week recently, with working late, family stuff and sickness. When I look at a 30-mile week on paper I think easy! and fun! but I just haven't been getting it done.

My plan right now is to shoot for mid-20s for the next few weeks, with 1 or 2 speed days thrown in.
Then, up it to around 30 mpw for a few weeks and then try and maintain in the low to mid-30s for the 16 week training plan.0 -
I would try to add 3 quality sessions before the race. Something short, like 6 to 8x200m at 5K effort, just to get used to running fast again.0

Thanks! I think I can fit 3 speed sessions in (Maybe Thursday, Sunday, Tuesday?).0

I'd say no to the additional volume... in my experience some BS always happens to me when I up my weekly mileage, but not when I get more quality runs in.0
