perimenopause/menopause

OK, since one rarely ovulates with PCOS, it would make sense that (peri)menopause would occur later, as there would be extra eggs hanging out.

Any experience on this or knowledge?

    Not sure but I don't think there's actually extra eggs hanging out. The egg goes into "ready position" in the ovary but then doesn't bust out of the ovary - the cysts are actually the eggs still hanging out in "ready position" so they are not available for future ovulation.
