Hi Stoshew71 and Everyone!
Thank you for your kind invitation! I'm excited as well as hopeful of crossing my goal successfully this time. Others workouts have cut back running time so it's 30 miles challenge in May for me. Good Luck to everyone!

Today starts the May Challange. Good luck everyone. Let me know if I may help anyone.0

0.73 Miles. I'm doing C25K so I calculated my total "running" to be that much.0

Make sure your actual logs are on the main thread located at:
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1268744-may-running-challange
And you can log both running and walking.0 -
I'm not getting off to a good start. I'm skipping my scheduled 5-mile run today due to a bad cold. I ran the past two nights and each time my temperature would spike up to 102°. Going to rest a couple of days and hopefully get over this thing!0

Question guys: I was unable to updated my already created ticker this morning. I had to create a brand new ticker and add my miles. When I use the direct image URL (http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/w37azVs/exercise.png) it simply takes me to the image itself. Clicking on the ticker does nothing. When I use the link indicated in the instructions (http://www.tickerfactory.com/ezticker/ticker_designer.php?type=8) I have no option to select settings and enter the PIN I created. Am I missing something? Or doing something wrong? Any clarification is greatly appreciated - Thank you!0

Half marathon yesterday! Ran a personal best: 1 hour 57 minutes. I think I could have gone faster - I was pretty comfortable for most of the race. Maybe I'll aim for a slightly faster time next time...0 -

Just a reminder that your log runs are meant to be in the main thread located at:
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1268744-may-running-challange
If you log your runs there, there is no need to repeat it here. This thread was meant to ask questions or make comments or to ask/offer words of encouragement.
Everyone is doing such a great job logging. When everyone logs, some times serious questions or comments can get lost in the sea of running logs that everyone leaves. This thread allows me to see those questions much quicker so that I or others can react to them better.
Thank you everyone for participating this month. You all are doing great.0 -

That is an outstanding time on your half. My only half so far was last month and was so happy for my 1:58:08 finish. I was pretty sore for a week after that race. :-)0 -
RATS!-just acquired a new blister yesterday on my 5 mile run. I have my first 10k Saturday, so I will not be running until race day
Hoping it will be all better by then!0 -

Ouch! That sucks Nina. My wife used to get blisters all the time. Then she was advised to get running socks, and no more blisters. Cotton socks retain sweat and cause rubbing and chafing on your feet which is normally where blisters come from. Special running socks are designed to prevent that.

interesting, thanks for the info! Never thought about socks making a difference, might have to switch out the socks and give it a try for my first 10k Sat0 -

Sadly, I am far too lazy to make a ticker.
On the good side, at least I am going to move! Trying for 50 miles this month.0 -
