Howdy y'all! After stepping up for 600,000 steps in vivofit, the Garmin fitness activity tracker, I have reviewed it for you. Feel free to read it at http://goo.gl/r4xwQn on my RunningGrooveShark blog. Also, vivofit was named best fitness activity tracker by Wirecutter today. Bumping to read at home. I have almost 300K steps on mine and like it, all bugs aside0

Your review was excellent! It's tempting ???? but the wire cutter article almost put me to sleep. It falls into the TLDR but skimmed category. Thanks for sharing and congrats on the milestone of 600,000 steps!!!! How long have you been using it?0

Thanks! Looks like I started using it March 20 (part day) then March 21 was first full day, so barely more than a month. Love it despite some very minor inconveniences (mainly lack of lighting...and failure to sync/connect with MFP directly).0

Good review. Why do you think the calorie count is inflated? I have worn mine swimming and it doesn't track that as any steps. Also have worn it cycling and that doesn't track. However on my last ride I put it into the leg of my bike shorts and then it counted steps. I also wore it grocery shopping and because my hands weren't moving pushing the cart it didn't track any of those steps.0

That happened to me in Target the other day too haha0 -
Thanks, I think the calorie count is inflated because my vivofit is not paired with a HRM (my Garmin 620 pairs with it though) so the calorie burn is less accurate than it would be if it were paired with a HRM. Plus, I'll look at what it says I burned and it's way beyond what Runkeeper estimates (which is higher than what Garmin w/ HRM suggests for calorie burn).0
