Moving Forward in May Weight Loss Challenge!

If you are new and want to join in, by all means do! We love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:
My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Life time goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)
Weigh ins: What days you will weigh in. (I will weigh in on Fridays in April)
4/4/14= (Fill out after each weigh in.)
4/11/14=
4/18/14=
4/25/14= (Final weigh in for the month.)
The simplest way to do this is to find your previous weeks post, copy the text then click the reply button. Paste the text in and add your new weight.
Also, if you are quoting someone to send them a kudo or offer a hand up, please add @theirusername to the top of the text so we can keep who's who straight (very helpful when we get over 100 posts per month :-)

Non-scale related goal for May: The BF and I have decided to cut fast food for the month*, except for one night where we may order pizza. Looking through my bank account, I was honestly shocked at how much I have spent recently on eating out, which is ridiculous considering how sick eating out typically makes me. Since this makes none of the sense, I figure it shouldn't be too terribly hard to cut it out for a month.
*Starbucks does not count as fast food in my world.

Jess, good to see you back from your hiatus. I returned about a week ago. Well, since we are putting other topic threads in this one.... If you aren't seeing good results this month, you might want to consider putting Starbucks in fast food world. (I know, it makes me cry too. However I've had too many doctors point out that the single worst thing we can do is drink our calories. It does not fill us up and it takes no time to digest. I will eventually allow myself ONE designer drink per week with calories no higher than 160. I was up to four a week during my "stall." --Any wonder I was stalling? --dw)0 -

It's getting harder to limit my calories. The only reason my daily limit isn't exceeded, is because of increased exercise allowing me more flexibility. It makes me aware of the pending difficulty transitioning to maintenance. But no need to worry now. There will be time to fight that battle later.

Dan, sorry for combining topics! I just figured that since the no fast food is a goal I've set for May that I'd keep track of it here also, mostly for my own benefit. About the coffee, I typically treat myself to a fancy coffee about once a week so I probably won't be cutting it any further than that.

@brookielaw:- Congratulations on your weight loss. I am very inspired by your loss. Can you share your routine and how you are doing it? I have to loose close to 110 lbs and I am having hard time maintaining and keeping the lost weight off.
In between, how are you able to post your tickers? I am not able to paste mine. Any suggestions??0
