I was going for 60 miles today but two flat tires, sitting around for a pick up to go to the bike shop for more tubes, and a headwind meant 36 was as much as I could muster. Still a nice ride but it cost me two tubes, two CO2 cartridges two new tires (went to Gatorskins in a 25mm) and about two hours or sitting around. On the plus side, I was talking to the guys at the LBS and got the line on a couple of new routes that I can't wait to try out.

And now making GOAL are ......*drum roll please* ...... CALLIOPE610 and SUFFERLANDRIAN!!! :drinker::drinker::drinker: Sorry you had such an ordeal doing it today, Dean!! :noway:
CECI_O_K - Just looked up the link you posted and that trail system looks very cool! If i'm ever down your way with my bike, I'd love to ride a miles with you! We have a couple of pretty decent trails here too....converted rails-to-trails. My favorite is www.cannonvalleytrail.com. It's about a 40 mile round trip. The other one is longer but it's further away from me so I've only done it once many years ago when I did the MS150 Charity Ride. http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_trails/willard_munger/index.html So if you ever find yourself in Minnesota with your bike, I can take you for a decent ride too!
NATER_0823 - Awwww! And we're so glad you're here too!!! :flowerforyou:I am a post and run gal lately, but I just want to say: we all appreciate what you do too, Dave, even if we don't take the time to say it. I find this group a huge motivator, and am sure that I would not be nearly as active as I am without it!
LAMLAM2013 - Behind though you may be, your total to date is nothing to sneeze at! You've gone as far this month as I have .... PLUS another 75% again!! Wow!
LOTS OF GREAT MOVING GOT DONE TODAY!! Keep it up!!

Nice job getting it done early, Dave!
I'm going to follow suit and get up early tomorrow and give it a go. Time to try because it's hot in the evening, we are busy and lately, I'm just tired after work! I thought I'd post here to make myself accountable
No new milage but I did do 145 squats lol.0 -

Yikes! How did it get to be so late in the month already?? I know I have been MIA, but I have been moving my *kitten* and recording. My goal is 175 miles and so far I have walked 141.11miles.0

Hmmm. This explains why I need to clean out my closets more often.
Good luck with the garden Speedy. Mine is looking good so far, but I haven't checked it out this morning after the hail we had last night. And wait until later in the summer to decide if it is too small. Every spring I grumble about not having enough room:grumble: and each summer I grumble about too much room to weed and care for:grumble:  .0 -
Added 6 miles yesterday. Lots of last minute errands scheduled today for the daughter's trip, so I'm not sure how much I'll do today.
May total 122 miles
@waltersro2012 I hope your husband is continuing to do well. It's scary when a sudden health problem surprises us like that. :flowerforyou:
@hoyalawya2003 Yes, 40 miles this month is a win.:drinker: :drinker: Maybe you can get to 50 when life is less crazy, but 40 is fantastic.
@dave Way To Go!!! :drinker: :drinker: What a great day for you. An early (ish) run and a decent walk too. :drinker:
@sufferlandrian Congrats on making goal. :drinker: :drinker: Sorry for the extra cost involved but hey, now you have even more routes to explore.
We're closing in on the end of the month here (wow already???:noway: ) So keep on moving everyone. Even if your goal is a bit out of reach, every bit of progress is a success. :flowerforyou: Don't ever give up on yourself!!!! :flowerforyou:0 -

Thank you. It's weird that we keep hearing, "That was his lucky day". I'm just grateful that he is still here and able to function. He'll get better, I have faith in that.
