I gave the first of my final exams and managed not only to work while they worked, but I didn't eat any of the donuts I bought for them :drinker: Then I came home and did a 4 Mile Power walk and then went to visit my dad who is now able to swallow so he is being transitioned to taking things by mouth.
Note: For those of you who are new, my dad had a serious emergency surgery in February that occurred out of the blue. He was hospitalized for the better part of a month, in acute care for a number of weeks, and has recently been moved to a nursing home for rehabilitation. Mostly at this point he is just really weak. He passed the swallow test this week after months of not being able to swallow, and he should progress quickly now that he will have a reason to be up for longer parts of the day.0 -

Weighed in. The same 3 pounds keep dancing on and off the scale over the last month. However, almost 2 inches seem to have melted from various parts of my body in the same period.

Although throat still a little scratchy, I felt well enough to go to Group Power (AKA Body Pump) - felt great - sadly it left the Achilles a little tender.

@k80flek--there was no pizza and no ice cream. However, I was filled with good cooking, wonderful dinner rolls, turtle cake, almond bars, Dutch Letters, Dutch pastries, kettle corn, roasted vanilla cinnamon nuts, and chocolate truffles. It was delicious and full of treats that are out of my normal routine.
