Getting 8 hours of sleep promotes more loss from fat!!
In a study done at the University of Chicago in 2010 and published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, they found that getting 8 hours of sleep a night actually promoted more weight loss from fat. Dieters who got adequate sleep lost over half of their weight loss from fat and the dieters that didn’t get 8 hours of sleep a night lost only a quarter of their weight loss from fat.
Why? Because if you are not getting adequate sleep the body will produce more ghrelin which makes you hungry but also reduces your metabolic expenditure.
