Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend. I did, my treat night was controlled to the amount of extra calories I wanted and I was spot on the rest of the weekend. I can't believe it is May already. I so love this time of year with all the flowers and trees in bloom. I am so looking forward to the warm days of summer.

    Hello!

I had a fabulous weekend with the girls! We did a lot of shopping, got a pedicure, ate great, and did the 12K on Sunday. The race was nice (didn't rain as predicted, so that made it even better), but I would have loved to be able to run it. But walking it was fun. Felt like I got see the course a bit more because of going at a slower pace.

I did really well with my eating on Friday and Saturday, but went overboard on Sunday. Hoping I won't see too much of gain when I weigh in on Thursday, but if I do, then I'll know why! LOL First time I've had an alcoholic drink in months... but man, was it good! LOL

Hope everyone is having a good week!

Hi All! I'm doing great so far this week. I've been doing Carb Nite and it has been going great so far. I realized today and yesterday that I actually have skipped a pants size! I will need to go shopping this weekend as all of my work pants are ridiculously baggy. Dresses may be the answer for that but I'm not comfortable wearing them very often.

I have been really liking doing more weight lifting and less HIIT and cardio workouts!

    Hope you're all doing well!

Stacy sometimes when I go over calories I just cut out a few hundred each day to make up for it. I'm glad the race went well for you and you had a great weekend.

Angela, that is great that you skipped a pant size. I use goodwill to find cheap cloths until I know I'm at a point where I want to be and stay. Then I will go shopping and get the stuff I really like.

I also went down a pant size this week. My friend who is losing weight was telling me he is almost out of his 44's and was going to give them to me. So I thought I would go home and break out some 44's just to see where I was at. Well they fit, I was pretty happy.

Was only up .6 this week. Whew! Will do much better this week since I'm not doing any traveling or anything. Tonight is my "dinner out with hubby" night, so I may go over my calories, but I will make it up throughout the rest of the week.

Congrats to both of you for being down pant sizes!! That is so awesome. And what a great feeling!!

I'm just hoping I have lost enough over the last couple of months that my summer clothes will fit. And if we ever get spring weather, I may be able to break out summer clothes. Was 27 degrees when I left the house this morning. Definitely not typical May temperatures. Though it does warm up a bit throughout the day.

Hope everyone is doing well and having a fabulous week!!

It has been in the 80s here the past couple days and I am very thankful for the warm weather. It seemed like this winter would never end. I hope it warms up for you soon Stacy.

I am down 2 more lbs this week. I am hoping next week to hit that 100 lb lost mark since my restart in July. I am at 98 right now.
