Saw a recipe for rutabaga chips and I just had to make them. I used the slicing disc on the cuisinart to slice 1 med peeled rutabaga into 1/8 the inch slices. Tossed with olive oil, sea salt and fresh cracked pepper baked them at 350 for about 10 min a side. I dipped them in mushroom fondue that I made with fat free evaporated milk and fontina cheese. So yummy. Now I have a great replacement for French fries. Sweet potato fries are just too sweet for me, these are just right. They come out like sliced roast potatoes. Next time I will try different seasonings on them and just eat them plain

I ADORE YOU!! Thanks for the recipe. I don't even know what a rutabaga looks like. I'll go to the grocery store and ask!
