salomon xr shift trail shoes? any info?

i was at Atmosphere on my lunch hour today and they had Salomon XR Shift shoes on sale. i checked the Salomon site, but it looks like they have been discontinued and the page is no longer there. they're advertised as a road to trail shoe. has anyone had any experience with them?

    Nuttin, but I can attest to the awesomeness of Salomon shoes in general. I wear Speedcross 3's and will be running in S-Lab Sense 3 Ultras on Sunday.
