Doctor Put me on Regular Diet Yesterday

My Dr. told me that I am not at a stall and that I am actually obsessing over the scale by stepping on it everyday. So I made a promise to myself to not weigh myself everyday but once a week.
I still struggle to get food down, the only thing that feels good is Yogurt, soup and liquids.
I feel Nauesa when I eat other foods and I get really sleepy. Does anyone have this issue or am I the only one struggling.
My protein intake is good, my carb intake I keep under 20 grams a day, my sodium intake is low.
My stomach has always been funny even before the surgery.
Any suggestions or ideas?
Regards,
Karen

I'm to hear you are having so much trouble. I didn't even buy a scale until almost 2 months out as I knew I would become obsessed with it. Now I have it, I have found that I only weigh myself every couple of weeks. WIERD!
You're doing great on getting your protein in and everything else under control. My surgeon didn't even let me get to the regular food phase until about 10-12 weeks out. Then I followed my guidelines of just introducing one food a day to see if my stomach would tolerate it. I did find that I used my nausea medication more during the first couple weeks of real food, than right after surgery. It may have helped that I've been on medication for stomach problems for over 40 years. Currently at prescription Prilosec 40g/day. I still have a long way to go before I'll venture out into foods that I really love, but don't think I'm ready for yet, red meat, veggie pasta, etc.
Whenever I feel nausea, I always get very sleepy even before the sleeve. Just try and take it very slow. If you keep feeling this way, contact your Dr. to find out whether this is normal. In my case it was, but everyone is different.
With the yogurt, I cut up or buy the Dole frozen fruit of choice, cut it in smaller pieces, mix in with my yogurt, then put in freezer for an hour or two. Gives it a different texture and is very refreshing. I do the same thing with my protein shakes.
Hope this gets under control for you soon.
