Yeah it was about time. You couldn't use the Xbox at all without gold just about. Too late for me though, I switched when the PS4 came out.

My thoughts exactly! All the non-tech savvy people I know want to know how to watch Netflix on their TV and I'd recommend PS3 because there was no paywall and they wouldn't game anyhow. Though I really preferred the app on 360 over PS3, it just seemed simpler (though I haven't had my PS3 in a while now).
