Second Trimester Loss of appetite?

So I am moving into the second trimester (currently at 13 weeks today) , this is my first pregnancy and I am completely in the dark about things that the baby books just don't talk about!
this past week I have noticed I just dont have any appetite at all! I have been struggling to get the right amount of calories in and most days this week I have been under my calories without trying... Let me just say this is VERY weird for me as I have always been a lover of food and have never had a problem eating or maintaining my calorie goals. I should also note I do not have morning sickness or nausea anymore so its not related to that at all.
Has anyone else experienced this when moving from first trimester to second trimester? I'm not sure if I should be worried or just give it a little bit longer before I ask the doctor if I need to be doing anything differently.
Thanks for all your help ladies I love this forum!

Welcome to the second tri! I am currently 17W6D, and I notice this also. However it is pretty unpredictable. Some days I am a never ending pit, and others I have no appetite at all. It comes and goes. I still haven't had any of those crazy pregnancy cravings yet...waiting to see if the stereotypes are true.0

I am actually a little jealous! I was a bottomless pit in the second trimester ... Oh, wait, I still an. Pregnancy has made me hungrier than ever all the time!
Give into your cravings - but think them through. If you want ice cream, try cottage cheese or yogurt. Try to eat healthy but eat the things that sound good and eat when you want.
I am no longer counting calories. I eat whenever I am hungry and stop when I am not.0 -
I was the complete opposite. I was on track during the first tri. Came second trimester and a hole in my stomach seemed to have opened! I am 32 w 3 d today and out of the 26 lbs I have gained so far, 20 lbs came in the second tri alone.
I wouldn't worry too much about it just yet. Give it sometime and if it continues like this for longer, then you may need to bring it up with your doctor. Good luck.0
