The baby is still going through her fussy phase. She started up again while I was cooking dinner. Since it is Hubby's night off I let him decide whether he wanted to cook or soothe the baby. He loves to cook so he took over dinner. He made another small side and some cornbread. He also added corn to the peas and got so caught up in cooking everything else that he burned the bottom half of the main dish.
Now I can't eat the dinner I carefully budgeted and was looking forward too. I'm hungry and have no idea what to eat and hubby is upset because he doesn't get why this is so important to me. I really want to curl up and cry right now.

Boo. I'm sorry. Can you make a wrap or quick salad? Me and mine are kinda into it again too. He's mad because it has been 2 weeks without you know what. Honestly, half the time I don't like him very much because he is a selfish ugh, and the last thing I want to do is please him. I already everything else around here except mow the lawn. Very hard to feel romantic when everything is so one sided. Hopefully you can find something to satisfy you within your cals. I know how frustrating it is when the kids are fussy. I just want to give in and calm myself with food.

Sadly, no I can't. Our fridge is out and lettuce seems to go bad quickly quickly without one. Originally I had planned a healthier pasta dish with a large salad on the side but hubby forgot to bring home lettuce, peppers and fresh chicken.

:flowerforyou: I hope things are better today! Thinking of you, an wishing you the best day ahead!! Blessings
  • I ended up scraping the burned parts off and trying to get as close to a serving as possible. It was kind of depressing. But it was late and I had to eat something.

To make up for it Hubby took the girls and let me have a nap. I got 3 solid hours of sleep for the first time in days. And he just left to go to the store to get the ingredients for the spaghetti dinner I've been craving. I'm cooking it and pasta sauce is my specialty.
