Counting our blessings

Since I just had a total pity party for myself on a post I just created, I thought it might be good for all of us to talk about the blessings we have in our lives. It seems like a lot of us have a hard time thinking about the good stuff--we're too focused on the negatives.
So, here are my blessings:
1. My son
2. My husband
3. Friends/family
4. Relatively good health
5. I have my own home
6. I have enough money to pay my bills (for the most part)
7. I am very self aware and know what I need to do to take care of myself (even though I dont always do those things)
What are yours?

Oh! So, so, so many! Today... a good friend who came for a chat and stayed to nap on my couch. A warm blanket and purring cat. Fresh, ripe strawberries for lunch. Free books for my kindle. A loving sister who will visit in a month. A beloved husband who loves me well and is always willing to work through our difficulties. Twenty five years of travels and teaching to look back on.
Yes, many many blessings.0 -
:flowerforyou: My Blessings!!
My husband
My Sister Brenda - without her I wouldn't be who I am today!
My Dad - truely the best man that walks the face of this earth!
My sister Charlene and her beautiful Boys. I wasn't able to have my own children and they fill the void!
My little dog - Da WeeWee!!
My job - and all my clients - I love them dearly, their like family!!
My hobby's - Wine making, Tea, reading, stained glass art, porcelain work, and building my home.
My beautiful home - I built myself over the last 23yrs! I worked on it paycheck to paycheck. I dug the foundation with a garden tiller and shovel. Mixed the concrete in a wheelbarrel with a garden hoe. The only thing I didn't do was the roof- I'm a little frightened of ladders,so my Dad and his friend helped. Everytime I look at it my heart fills with pride, I love it- mistakes and all!

Love this post as well!
My healthy twins and husband.
An amazing family and group of close friends that unconditionally support my journey.
My husband changing jobs to be able to help our family with childcare. He keeps our kids by himself 3-4 days of the week! This change allowed me to continue with the job I love *sometimes* as well.
A home with large yard that I am just finally taking advantage of.
