How did you all work out your food diary limits? So I know 80 for protein and I have 800 calories for energy but how did you work out the rest like carbs, fats?

    I asked my dietician for the marker numbers for sugar and fat. I didn't ask about carbs. I figured if I am hitting my protein and watching my sugar and fat that the rest would be fine.

    My nutritionist recommended not more than 60 carbs a day, they recommend 20 max per meal. When I adjusted MFP with an 800 calorie limit, 80g of protein MFP gave me the fat amount.

    Here is my MFP setting

    Calories = 800
    Carbs = 60
    Fat = 27
    Protein = 80
    Sodium = 2300
    Sugar = 57

    I don't always reach those goals, I prioritize protein first, then carbs, then calories. I do typically get my protein in but the others fluctuate usually under but sometime overs.

    I let MFP set everything but the calorie and protein. When I adjusted the protein, everything else automatically adjusted. Frankly, I pay more attention to the calories and protein as that's what my nutritionist told me to focus on and sodium because I am so hyper sensitive to it. Everything else just seems to fall where I need it to be because of what I eat most days.

    Thanks guys. That all makes sense. I might reset mfp again and just adjust protein and calories and go from there.
