Hi all!!!!
I'm new here and new to 5x5. Most important for me is getting some new music as that is the biggest motivation for me. What are your favorites????

a bit of an old playlist, I definitely need to update, but if any of this sounds like your kinda thing there might be some stuff you,ve never heard of.
If I ever have a walkout song (like wrestlers do, lol), it should be Come on by digital summer

How can you NOT hit a PR with that? =D0 -
OMG someone else who likes Limp Bizkit!
So few and far between I get excited when I hear it. lol
ETA: My walk out song would be Boss *kitten* *****

I'm in the minority, but I usually listen to pop lock n drop it radio for lifting. Luda tells me to get low during squats, Flo Rida tells me to throw my hands in the ay-er during OHP, and Webbie tells me I'm I N D E P E N D E N T during deadlifts. What else could a tree want? Lately though I've been mixing it up with Dr. Dre radio as I'm feeling nostalgic I guess. During cardio I've been listening to Lady Gaga radio. I absolutely hate Katy Perry and Ke$ha when I'm going about my normal business, but for some reason if I'm running I'm all about them.0

Am not Limp Bizkit's biggest fan by any stretch haha, but they do get me pumped and/or help me release the angry. Break Stuff is a classic!
And that song you linked makes wanna punch things. Actually no, not things. Just whatever's playing it.0 -
Right now.....I'm diggin on some AWOLNATION and Imagine Dragon's remixes. I have such a variety of music that it is hard to pin down specific artists.
I think my current walk out song would be She Bad by EVE.0 -

For me it´s also mixed. Sometimes Hip Hop, have a playlist for that. Jadakiss (J.A.D.A.), Busta Rhymes, Gina Thompson feat.Reakwon, Mystikal- shake ya *kitten*, Redman & Method Man - da rockwilder or the Honey OST, the new album of Talib Kweli etc
Other days I listen to Evans Blue, Placebo, Beatsteaks, The Raconteurs, 32 leaves, Shinedown etc.
It depends on my mood0 -
Anything electric-my favorite is Trance - Tiesto, Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, etc.0
-
I use Songza playlists. I've got several that I rotate through depending on my mood. I did have a classic rock one that I had to stop using when lifting because it's really really difficult to sing and concentrate on what I'm doing.0
-
I listen to rap when lifting... and when running. I just turn on the Rick Ross playlist on Pandora.0
-
Nine Inch Nails. Trent is my favourite workout buddy :ohwell:0
-
So many great ideas!!!! Thank you.0

I tend to use either an internet radio station that varies depending on my mood (and if I'm on wifi) or some of the RockMyRun songs I have. Mainly use those for running though. Lately I've been too lazy to bring music/headphones/waist belt so I've been going by whatever the gym is playing. And since its a college gym, its a good variation.0
-
I use heavier stuff for lifting. Makes me feel like a bad *kitten*. Avatar, Disturbed, old-school Metallica, Combichrist...The heavier the drums and bass, the better I lift!0
