OHP Problem

I found the answer to increasing, I do it in small increments and have been moving up, one pound at a time. I'm at 109, which for me is a pretty good progression.
Here's my problem: my wrists hurt. A lot.
So, how does one gain wrist strength and how do I do this without compromising my OHP progress?
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Do you use a thumb over grip or a false grip when you do OHP? It does put a lot of tension on the wrists if you wrap your thumb around at the bottom of the move.
Otherwise wrist mobility exercises might help you. One-hand rack on a barbell just to exagerate the back bend without the excessve weight has helped me a tad. You can also try using the floor with a little pressure and get your wrists used to being bend back a little.0 -

I'll check my grip. I'm honestly not sure because it only just became a problem these last few pounds!
I'll also work on mobility, because I know I have problems there.
Thanks for the suggestions!0
