My other half is a weight loss roadblock!

My boyfriend, for all his virtues, makes it extremely difficult for me to lose weight. I try to be good, but then I go to see him and end up eating pizza, ice-cream, and angel delight milkshakes. He's a sweetheart usually, but sometimes it gets irritating that he seems to be the biggest roadblock on my way to my perfect BMI (which is like... 4 stone lighter than I am currently). It's nice to hear him say "I love you just the way you are" but the problem is that I DON'T!!! What makes it worse is that he is a fussy guy, and doesn't eat fruit or veg... he doesn't even like strawberries or raspberries! This makes it really hard to make food for both of us. Does anyone else have a similar problem, or have any ideas on how I can get past this?
