Training & Nutrition Resources?

So it's become clear to me (or more abundantly clear, I should say) that I don't really have a whole lot of knowledge when it comes to marathon training and nutrition. I was wondering if you guys had any good recommendations on books or websites that I can read through. I'm interested in improving my performance and how to better eat and train for better endurance.
Thanks in advance!

"The New Rules of Marathon and Half-Marathon Nutrition" by Matt Fitzgerald has everything you are asking for. I can't say enough good things about it.
edited to add - his book "Racing Weight" is good for helping with nutrition, too.0 -

A second vote for Fitz's book.
In contrast, there is, unfortunately, a high % of hokum on Runner's World. Some of their articles are good but there are enough "misses" that I'd recommend that people not take many of their articles to heart.0 -
In addition to that ^^^^

I love Jonathan Savage. I don't do EVERYTHING he recommends but he researches topics thoroughly (charts!!!) and makes it easy to make educated decisions about what's right for you. VERY very thoroughly..0 -

Thanks. That's a great site all around! Tons of great ideas & info!0 -
I would do some research to see if there are any running groups in your area. I found that to be super helpful. Ours hold a clinic each year with speakers followed by group runs. You're likely to receive lots of advice. So with that I say - listen to everyone, follow no one.0

I really like a website called Runners Connect.
The blog: http://runnersconnect.net/blog/
They also just put out a marathon training ebook (free, scroll down just a little): http://runnersconnect.net/0
