Breathing when doing SL

Hi,

Just wanted to know what is the correct way to inhale/hold breath/exhale when doing the lifts?

For ex;- when squatting, I take a deep breath, unrack the weight onto my shoulders, exhale. Then take another breath, hold it while I squat and exhale when I come back up.

    What Fit said...I do however find it useful to actually push the breath out...I find if I just "breath" I don't get that extra umph.

    I don't start exhaling until I am in the hole and that's what helps me up sometimes. Also I gulp three times before really big lifts. I have no idea if thats right or not, lol.
