Galloway - Half Marathon training Q's

Does the pace/mile he suggests for the long runs *include* the walking portions? Or would that be the pace if you were only running?
Also, the long-run pace he suggests is slower than I can (speed) walk. Thoughts?

I looked this up to see what you were asking about and after reading his chart, I too, didn't know.
My guess is, based on the way he puts the chart out there, that his pace is a total inclusion pace, since as the pace slows, the ratio of time running decreases.
Sorry I'm not more help. Good luck with your training.0 -
there was a question in the main forums about this last night, so I tried the calculator following my session, albeit fastest mile within a 12Km run.
The forecast times for 1/2 and 10Km were both significantly more conservative than I can run those anyway, so I'd assume that's combined pace for both portions.0
