How is everyone? Have you been able to get out this week?

I got a stairs/track mile workout in on Monday. I opted to stay inside because we had some nasty weather in my parts. And, I got in some treadmill time yesterday, where I didn't walk for 20 min! Yay!!

Tonight I am going to a class at a local studio using the TRX RIP trainer. It's intense, the moves look easy, but a few seconds in - you can feel the BURN!!!

Might be getting a little mileage in after that.

And, I'll leave you with a quote - "Rather than aiming to be perfect, just aim to be a little better today than you were yesterday."

    I like that quote! I was doing so well until the last couple days. Wednesday I was just exhausted by the time I got home and that's my cleaning night. So, I did that. Bad weather here kept me in and I hate the treadmill.

    Yesterday, I was so looking forward to it - the weather here is perfect - but it just didn't happen. I did spend six hours doing yard work and cleaning out the garage. Then spent 3 hours on the phone with tech support trying to set up my new laptop. By then, it was 11:30 pm.

    I know it sounds like a lot of excuses, I'm just having a hard time balancing work, schoolwork, all the things that need to be done around the house and taking time for a social life. Tho, I realize, none of those things will matter if I'm not healthy!

    Since I joined this week, I've run twice. Yesterday I think I jogged almost 2 miles. That's pretty exciting. I plan on doing again tomorrow, now that I'm not as sore.
