OT: Trouble importing data from my Garmin 910xt

I started the day with my Garmin 910XT cleaned of all activities. I ran 12 miles this morning and saved the activity. I can review in devices history. However, I cannot import the data into anything. The Garmin Ant agent connection status just says "waiting for new data". Other things I use (Sporttracks, Runkeeper, Strava, Running Ahead) also will not pick up the activity. I've rebooted my laptop (Windows 7 Enterprise). I've unplugged and re-plugged back in the Ant USB stick. It's very frustrating. Any ideas?

    If you do not need it right away I would email Garmin support. Not sure how fast they are on weekends but they have pretty good support. could try reinstalling the Ant drivers. Might also try a soft reset. On my Garmin NOT your model, a soft reset retains history but i would validate yours will before doing that

    I have periodically had this trouble too with garmin connect and with dailymile. It may not be the same problem, but I uninstalled and then reinstalled the garmin ant agent stuff. Paired it with my device again and it worked again...

    I disabled the data transfer and then re-enabled it. That must have done it. I guess. Strange!
