My biggest struggle for the next 1 1/2 weeks will be to REMEMBER portion control and get at least a run in every other morning! We will be on vacation visiting my son in Washington State! He's my youngest, graduating Central, so proud! Than we are off to Yellowstone for 3 or 4 days! Plus my goal is JUST gain 3 or 4 pounds, wish me luck, lol.

    Today: 10.5 miles -walking - 3 and 1/2 hrs
    Total: 20.1 miles this week

My biggest challenge this week was trying not to over eat or over snack while on the road or out to eat with family. We went on vacation this week down to Ohio to visit my fiancee's sister who had come into town from Louisianan. I found it pretty hard, though out of the whole time down there, yesterday was the only off day I had (I went over my limit by 430-ish calories, even after my long walk). All things considered, with only that minor hiccup I think I did really well. Competition with my fiancee on who can track their food the best and who can keep up with their workout routine kept me motivated. My biggest triumph was actually today where I actually managed to walk 10 miles in a day. We even walked to lunch to a town favorite called Cony Island and practically worked off what we ate there. Oh, and when I weighed myself today (Sunday is my weekly weigh in day) I found I had lost 2 more lbs.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, mavanscoy... I hope and you and your family are all doing okay, under the circumstances. Keep strong!
