I am feeling very lethargic, this morning I could even do my normal run and was exhausted at less than 2 miles. My stomach growling at night actually woke me up and then after my shower this morning I had a lot of hair that fell out. So, should I eat more, cut out the running or something else??? I already eat 2300 a day, when I had my bodymedia a few weeks ago it said the average for the last month I wore it was at 2700, I wasn't lifting as heavy as I am now but I was running more. Any ideas what I should do or change? Thanks!

Hair falling out makes it sound like a thyroid or over-exertion issue. So that might be something worth getting checked out. At 2300 cals/day I don't think you should be worried about having too low levels of fat and micronutrients, but you may have a deficiency in something that your diet doesn't cover. So, checking with a doctor here might be important.
Other than that, I combat stomach growling at night by eating as close to bed time as possible, something that has a good amount of protein and some fruit, sometimes a bit of fat.
You might need to cut back on some physical activity. If you've only recently started heavy lifting ,cutting back some running might be a good idea for a few weeks, at least until you get used to the new stress and whatnot.0 -
Thanks Krok, I will cut back on the running for a few weeks before i see a doctor. I switched BC a couple months ago since my cycle was off. Maybe that's part of it, i did lose alot of hair when i was breastfeeding too. Damn hormones.0
