MFP: Tips and tricks

I've got two to share:

1) You can enter negative values for food.

(Wait, what?) Say you order the Pecan Chicken salad from Wendy's, but you don't eat the ounce of cranberries (or whatever the measurement) you can log -1 oz of cranberries and it'll give you back those calories. I use this when I order a burger without a bun, from Red Robin. The burger's in the tracker, so I just log -1 bun.

2) There's recipe builder in here, so you can create and log your own recipes. But wait. It gets better.

If you use a recipe from a website like allrecipes.com, MFP now has an import option that lets you paste the website for the recipe. It puts the measurements in for you and gives you the option to make changes before you save it.

If anyone else has any neat tips/tricks, please share them!

The BF uses recipies from Allrecipies all the time! I love it that they are in here, makes life sooooo easy. Even easier is putting in my recipe for Shepard's pie. Shows me just how good it really is!

Gonna go flop back into bed now, head is spinning today and that luncheon threw off my diet & bg #'s. Ah well.
